SILRES® WH 80A

Emulsion of a siloxane. Acts as a water reducible, solvent-free water repellent and wood impregnating agent. Provides water repellency, hydrophobicity and excellent short term and long term beading after exposure to UV radiation. Offers protection against damp, moisture and the subsequent damage caused by fungi and insects for an exceedingly long time. Retains color & gloss after weathering in coating formulations and reduces the frequency of renovation and recoating. Shows compatibility with alkyds or acrylic latexes and cellulosic substrates. It has low VOC before and after curing according to EPA method 24. It is UV stable and resistant to cracking, peeling and blistering. Suitable for use in water-based, film-forming, pigmented wood stains and exterior wood work.
