LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® X7

LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® X7 by Laviosa Minerals is a high performing, highly effective rheological agent suitable for moderate to high polarity solvent-borne systems. It is especially designed for applications that need very low impuritiy content (i.e. NaCl). It is a highly purified bentonite clay, organically modified with a quaternary alkylammonium compound. It gives thixotropic effect, sag control, excellent levelling and prevents pigments from long-term storage settling.

• It shows good performance in aromatics, cellosolve, acetates, ketones, glycols, alcohols and resins like epoxies, nitrocellulose, polyacrylates, polyesters, polyurethanes and polyvinyl.
• It can be incorporated by direct addition technique and pre-gel technique.
• It provides superior anti-settling properties and very high dispersibility.
• It is used in high performing anti-corrosive paints, industrial finishes, anti-fouling paints, foundry mold paints and printing inks.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.6% for paints & industrial finishes, 0.5-1.0% for primers & printing inks and upto 3.0% for anti-sagging properties.
• Shelf life of LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® X7 is 3 years.
