LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® B4

LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® B4 by Laviosa Minerals acts as a rheological agent for low to medium polarity solvent-borne systems. It is a bentonite clay, organically modified with a quaternary alkylammonium compound. It offers thixotropic effect, sag control, excellent levelling and prevents pigments from long-term storage settling.

• It shows good performance in solvents like aliphatic mineral spirits and aromatics.
• It can be incorporated by direct addition technique and pre-gel technique.
• It is used in oil-based paints (either industrial or architectural), marking paints, road marking paints and printing inks.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.6% for paints & industrial finishes, 0.5-1.0% for primers & printing inks and upto 3.0% for anti-sagging properties.
• Shelf life of LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® B4 is 3 years.
