LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® B7

LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® B7 by Laviosa Minerals is a rheological additive for moderate to high polarity solvent-borne systems. It is a purified bentonite clay, organically modified with a quaternary alkylammonium compound. It gives thixotropic effect, sag control, excellent levelling and prevents pigments from long-term storage settling.

• It provides anti-settling and anti-sagging properties in high polarity systems such as aromatics, Cellosolve™, acetates, ketones, glycols, alcohols, and resins, like epoxies, nitrocellulose, polyacrylates, unsaturated polyesters and polyurethanes.
• It can be incorporated by direct addition and pre-gel technique.
• It is used in anti-corrosive paints, industrial finishes, anti-fouling paints and printing inks.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.6% for paints & industrial finishes, 0.5-1.0% for primers & printing inks and upto 3.0% for anti-sagging properties.
• Shelf life of LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® B7 is 3 years.
