Reaction product of polyol and 10 (carboxymethoxy)-biphenyl-4-yl-2isopropyl-9-oxo-9H-thioxanthen-10-ium hexafluorophosphate. Acts as a cationic photo initiator. Designed for UV radiation curing system. Value of UV absorption is 245 nm. Used in flexographic and silk screen inks, overprint varnishes and plastic coating.
