Omnicat 270

Omnicat 270 by IGM Resins is a photoinitiator recommended for the cationic polymerization of formulations based on epoxies or oxetane.

It is a solid of a high-molecular-weight sulfonium salt free of heavy metals.
It has very low odor during and after curing.
It shows very low migration properties.
It is designed for white and pigmented systems.
It can be used alone or in combination with suitable photo sensitizers in UV-curable inks and varnishes.
It is used in paper, metal, wood and plastic coatings.
The recommended addition level for pigmented inks is 2-4%, overprint varnishes is 1-3% and the maximum concentration is 4%.
Omnicat 270 has a shelf life of 24 months.
