DISPERBYK® -2025

DISPERBYK® -2025 by Byk (Altana Group) is a structured acrylate copolymer with pigment affinic groups. Acts as a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne systems. Deflocculates pigments and provides steric stabilization. Offers high gloss and improved color strength. Provides a uniform electrical charge to pigment surfaces. Reduces viscosity, improves leveling and high pigment loading. Increases transparency and hiding power of the pigments. Shows an extremely good compatibility with different resin systems. Exhibits no impact on curing properties in acid catalyzed and acid curing coatings. Displays no yellowing in baking coatings even at higher temperatures. DISPERBYK® -2025 is used in coil coatings, industrial coatings, wood coatings and automotive coatings.
