DISPERBYK® -161 TF

DISPERBYK® -161 TF by BYK is a tin-free, wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-borne coatings and pigment concentrates. It deflocculates and stabilizes pigments thus prevents flooding and floating in pigment blends. It imparts increased gloss, color strength, transparency or hiding power, and reduced millbase viscosity. It is suitable for the stabilization of fine-particle carbon blacks and organic pigments, especially in 2-pack PU and baking systems. DISPERBYK® -161 TF is used for automotive-, industrial-, architectural- and protective coatings. Its recommended dosage level for inorganic pigment is 10-15%, titanium dioxide is 5-6%, organic pigment is 30-90% and carbon black is 70-140%. It has a shelf life of 60 months.
