SURFYNOL® 500S

Surfynol® 500S by Evonik is silicon and APEO-free, wetting agent. This surfactant possesses extended open time and workability. It offers outstanding pigment wetting and prevents pigment re-agglomeration, thereby allowing homogeneous dispersion of solid particles into the mixture. It provides reduced dispersion time, improved adhesion and long-term storage stability. It exhibits enhanced flow as well as self-leveling and increased shelf-life due to hydrophobization. Surfynol® 500S is used in powder coating and inks. Recommended usage level is 0.10–1.0% based on dry blended formulation.
