SURFYNOL® PC by Evonik is a silicone-free molecular defoamer. It is suitable for foam control and pigment shock reduction in paper coatings. It offers long-lasting defoamer activity and a balance of system compatibility. It is stable through the continued recycling of the formulation. It is free from hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and alkylphenol ethoxylated (APEs). Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.0% of total formulation weight. SURFYNOL® PC has a shelf life of 60 months.
