SURFYNOL® AS 5020

Surfynol® AS 5020 by Evonik is a non-ionic low-foam dynamic wetting agent and molecular defoamer. It is used in latex dipping, paper- and polymeric coatings. It is a 100% active, easy-to handle liquid that contains no added alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs) or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). Surfynol® AS 5020 provides surface tension reduction and enhances rapid penetration of absorbent substrates. It enables wetting of low-energy and contaminated substrates. Its recommended usage is between 0.1 and 1.5% of total formulation weight. It is in compliance with food contact regulations of US, Europe and Asia. It is listed on EINECS, TSCA, DSL, TCSI, AICS, ENCS, TCCL, PICCS, IECSC and NZIOC chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of 60 months.
