Special organically modified polysiloxane for slip, defoaming and improvement of surface characteristics. No intercoat adhesion problems even without sanding. Due to the special modification, it even gives better hot water resistance than other polyether modified polysiloxanes. Offers improved leveling and surface smoothness. Also acts as a de-aeration aid, no inner bubble problems in PU coatings. Avoids the formation of Bénard cells (antifloating effect). Used in stoving enamels based on alkyd-, acrylic- or polyester resins, acid curing, PU wood coatings especially for dipping, curtain coater process and high porous wood substrates, self-leveling epoxy flooring compounds as well as UV-curing inks and coatings. Addition and dosage: 0.05 – 0.50% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.05 – 0.2% based on total formulation.
