Afcona -2045

Silicone based defoamer. Prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing, application as well as even in difficult applications like airless spray, brush and roller. Combines with very strong defoaming properties and very good transparent appearance. The Intention of AFCONA – 2045 is to replace the old fashion middle range defoamers like AFCONA-2025, AFCONA-2035, and AFCONA-2040 where it gives better defoaming properties as well as better compatibility especially in polyurethane clear coat systems. Due to the excellent combination of defoaming and compatibility it is recommended for polyurethane system for wood, plastic and car refinish, airless spray coatings, NC lacquer and acid curing for wood, general industrial. Addition & Dosage: 0.1 - 0.7% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.2 – 0.5% based on total formulation.
