Afcona -2502

Modified polysiloxane with fine silica. Acts as a defoamer. Has a very high resistance to shear forces and temperature. Used in high and low PVC emulsion paints based on pure or modified acrylics, water-based pigment concentrates, printing inks and PU dispersions. Addition and dosage: 0.1– 0.5% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions 0.2 – 0.3 is sufficient. For pigment concentrates 0.3 – 0.5 is needed.
