Organically modified polyalkyl polysiloxane. Acts as a slip and leveling agent with good defoaming effect. It is better in slip, compatibility and better in defoaming. Used in foam sensitive systems (due to none foam stabilizing properties) like solvent-less epoxies, high solid or solvent-less polyurethanes, paints applied by curtain coater, airless spray application and UV curing systems. Will help in matting agent orientation. In UV curing systems, it even further reduces gloss when added together with a matting agent. Addition and dosage: 0.05 – 0.50% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.05 – 0.2% based on total formulation.
