Afcona -2583

Afcona -2583 by Afcona Additives is a VOC-free, silicone-free, water-based defoamer with hydrophobic solid particles. It is effective in normal coating ranging from PU dispersion to normal acrylic-based decorative paints. It has very good performance in a high shear environment such as a long period of grinding. Afcona -2583 is suitable for high-speed flexo printing process and pigment concentrate preparation, UPE, epoxy, and PVC composite systems. Recommended dosage level is 0.05-1.00% and under normal conditions, the dosage level is 0.05-0.25%, and in pigment paste preparation is 0.5 -1.0%. The shelf-life of the grade is 5 years.
