Leverage the durability and weatherability of Polyurethane Wood Coatings

Case Study | Supplied by UBE

Polyurethane wood coatings are frequently exposed to harsh environments such as heat, UV, stains, scratch and abrasion.
For this, they have to be highly resistant to heat, UV, hydrolysis, chemicals, stains, exposure to scratch & abrasion or solvents. However, it is not easy to develop a durable Polyurethane wood coating without having to compromise on flexibility.
To cope with this, UBE has developed Eternacoll® Polycarbonate Diols, specific raw materials for Polyurethane that bring best-in-class durability, excellent weatherability and tunable balance between hardness and softness to wood coatings.
