SYNTRAN® AC 7080

SYNTRAN® AC 7080 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is an aqueous solution of a polyacrylic acid homopolymer with high molecular weight. It is free of surfactants upon polymerization and can remain stable & clear at a low pH (1-3). After drying (at 20°C and 65% relative humidity), it forms a clear, hard and tack-free film which can be used as a smooth protective coating on various surfaces.

• It offers protection of metal during its processing (rolling, drawing and cutting, etc.).
• It is miscible with water in any ratio and turbidity does not affect the product quality.
• It is suitable for formulating thin organic metal (aluminum) coatings.
• The shelf life of SYNTRAN® AC 7080 is 12 months.
