SYNTRAN® AC 5922

SYNTRAN® AC 5922 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is a surfactant-free, multiphase, self-crosslinking acrylic polymer. It exhibits good thickener response and low foaming tendency for easy-to-formulate outdoor and indoor coatings. It provides very low water uptake and good penetration into substrates. It offers excellent pigment wetting and good flexibility/hardness balance for outdoor applications.

• It has very low VOC requirements in coating formulations.
• It shows excellent compatibility with PUD and other acrylic binders.
• SYNTRAN® AC 5922 is recommended for clear & pigmented decorative coatings, high build stains, impregnations, wood and various other flexible and non-flexible substrates.
• It is also used in combination with polyurethanes as well as with harder acrylic polymers to improve water resistance and to reduce MFFT.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months.
