SYNTRAN® AC 4006

SYNTRAN® AC 4006 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is a water-based, APEO- & co-solvents free, cationic acrylic copolymer solution. It exhibits excellent performance in blocking wood & cork extractives, nicotine, graffiti, soot and water stains. It is ideal for metal passivation having good compatibility with cationic PUDs and some metal salts or other low-pH ingredients.

• It is particularly suitable for wood primers where sandability is required.
• SYNTRAN® AC 4006 is used in stain-blocking coating systems (primers, 2-in-1 primers, topcoats).
• It is also used in the formulation of coatings with excellent adhesion properties on critical substrates such as glass, ceramic tiles, zinc and aged alkyd paints.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.
