WACKER® AK 1000 is a silicone fluid. It is a linear, non-reactive polydimethylsiloxane. Offers minimal change in physical properties over a broad temperature range. Exhibits excellent water-repellent properties, good dielectric properties and high heat resistance. Possesses low surface tension and thus high surface activity. Due to its chemical structure, WACKER® AK 1000 has an outstanding property profile, which sets it apart from organic materials such as mineral oils.
