VINNAPAS® EF8300

VINNAPAS® EF8300 by Wacker is an alkylphenol ethoxylate (APEO)-free, formaldehyde-free, environmentally friendly aqueous dispersion of vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer. Exhibits good block resistance, stain resistance, scrub resistance and wet adhesion/water resistance. It does not need a coalescing agent or plasticizer to achieve a low minimum film forming temperature and low glass transition temperature which provides the polymer with a very low to no co-solvent demand for proper film formation. It is highly compatible with other latex dispersions and can be blended with other polymers such as pure acrylics. It can replace a variety of technologies including vinyl acrylics, vinyl acrylic/acrylic blends and pure acrylics. Applicable for low volatile organic compounds (VOC), low odor contractor and do-it-yourself (DIY) products. Recommended for flat through semi-gloss finishes and very high end interior architectural coatings.
