Crilat 4747 by Vinavil is a water-based styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion. It is developed for the direct-to-metal coating market. It offers excellent corrosion resistance (both flash rust and salt fog resistance), high gloss and excellent adhesion to HIPS, ferrous, steel, aluminum & galvanized substrates in both wet and dry states. It provides pencil hardness, block resistance and very good chemical resistance. It is suitable for coatings and various formulates. It is highly versatile and compatible with commonly used coalescents (such as DPnB and Texanol), additives, fillers & other raw materials. The emulsifying system for this grade is anionic/non-ionic. It forms coalesced film with good transparency. Crilat 4747 is stable for 12 months when stored at a temperature range between 5°C to 40°C in closed containers.
