Synthane PV-100 by Synthecoat (Synthesia Group) is hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) Polymer. It exhibits high flexibility, color retention and abrasion resistance. It shows good resistance to atmospheric agents and excellent stability against U.V. light, when formulated for varnishes and paint. It acts as a polyurethane dispersion crosslinker. Synthane PV-100 is used in combination with modified polyesters or hydroxylated acrylics to produce two-component coats.
