A solution of alkyd resin modified by 35% saturated fatty acids and the product contains 75% of resin in butylacetate. Used as a binder for the production of stoving coatings and for production of paints based on nitrocellulose. Exhibits solubility in xylene, butyl acetate and partial miscibility with other short oil binders. Its shelf life is 12 months.
