KRW-6000 Series

KRW-6000 Series by Shin-Etsu are VOC-free, water-based silicone resins. They are used in coatings because of their excellent performance with regard to heat resistance. They do not contain organic solvents and emulsifiers, thus forming superior water-resistant films with no tackiness, making them easy to work with. After curing, they become inorganic silicone-only films, which provide excellent durability.

• They are used as binder for weather-resistant paints and various additives.
• As compared to conventional organic solvent-based silicone resins, KRW-6000 Series exhibit fast-curing at low temperatures in a short time, which allow reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
• They can also form high-hardness film with a maximum hardness of 4H.
