BECKOSOL® 2477-X-65

BECKOSOL® 2477-X-65 by Reichhold (Polynt) is a semi-drying plasticizing alkyd resin. It imparts a high degree of flexibility, toughness, gloss and weather resistance to finishes. It can used in lacquer formulations at 15 to 20 parts resin to 10 parts nitrocellulose with no other plasticizer needed, thereby contributing high solid at low viscosity. It can be formulated into baking enamels at 70% to 80% resin to 20% to 30% urea or melamine, a range offering optimum balance of adhesion, color, color retention and exterior durability. BECKOSOL® 2477-X-65 is developed for use in nitrocellulose and vinyl lacquers and in urea and melamine modified enamels. Can be used in exterior and interior lacquers and baking finishes. It has a shelf life of one year.
