Novalkyd S1157-60XIA

Castor oil/special FA based short oil alkyd resin diluted in 60% xylene/isobutyl acetate. Suitable for PU primers with good recoatability, fullness, high gloss and sandability in very short times (less than 40’), PU clears with very good mechanical properties. At higher thickness, it’s suggested in blend with other resin to improve the flexibility (for example NOVALKYD S1184-60X). Also used in PU colored primers for spray applications and matt or semi-matt with rapid hardness.
