L-6050 by MACRO POLYMERS is a medium oil, pentaerythritol esterified alkyd resin modified with linseed oil. It shows high viscosity and good hardness after short drying times. It exhibits limited compatibility with basic pigments. It is compatible with oil varnishes, melamine-formaldehyde 268/910/970, urea-formaldehyde 8/9001, linseed stand oil 30p and rosin modified maleic glycerin ester. It is recommended for low-cost paints, spraying enamels for trucks & buses and baking enamels for steel furniture. L-6050 can be used in air drying paint. The delivery form of this grade is 50 and 58-62% in MTO/WS.
