Elvacite® 2009

Acrylic resin based on methyl methacrylate. It is a specialty resin of medium molecular weight. Provides good solubility, flexibility and excellent barrier properties. Shows excellent solubility and softness in the methyl methacrylate resin line. Exhibits solubility in solvents including methylene chloride, ethylene dichloride and methyl formate. Offers compatibility in some plasticizers. Used in lacquers as a barrier top-coating for vinyls. Applications include inks and varnishes. Complies with TSCA, DSL, EINECS, ENCS, AICS and IECSC.
