Hycar® 2679

Hycar® 2679 by Lubrizol is heat-reactive, acrylic copolymer latex. It provides excellent wash- and dry cleaning resistance. It is soft handed and achieves discoloration resistance to light and heat aging. It exhibits excellent properties with minimum heat requirement. Its colloidal properties improve processing characteristics such as high sizing and low foaming. It shows good mechanical stability. It is used in back coating for textile fabrics, nonwoven fabrics and paper. It has good pigment binding properties which makes it suitable for print pastes, textile printing inks and pigmented coatings such as leather finish formulations. Hycar® 2679 is also suitable for performance coatings.
