Phenoxy PK™ HP-80

Phenoxy PK™ HP-80 by Huntsman is a micronized powder–grade phenoxy resin. It provides tough, ductile, amorphous polymers having excellent thermal stability, and excellent vapor barrier properties. It reacts with cross-linker like isocyanates, phenolic and melamine resins along the backbone hydroxyl groups. It offers improved toughness and adhesive strength when properly cured on many substrates including steel, aluminum, glass, carbon fibres and plastics such as nylon and polyester (PET). Phenoxy PK™ HP-80 is suitable for single-pack epoxy/DICY coatings. The shelf life of the grade is 10 years.
