DOMALKYD 3454 60 X by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is a short oil alkyd resin based on dehydrated castor oil. It is supplied as 59-61% in xylene. It offers non-yellowing resistance. DOMALKYD 3454 60 X can be used in combination with melamine resins. It is suitable for stoving enamels for metals and acid curing wood lacquers. It is soluble in aromatic & chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and glycol ethers. This grade is shows compatibility with short & medium oil alkyd resins, melamine and urea resins. It is partially soluble in higher alcohols & aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is stable for 12 months if stored in a dry place at temperature below 25°C.
