Hauthane HD-5002

Hauthane HD-5002 by Hauthaway is a cost-effective, aliphatic polyurethane/acrylic hybrid dispersion with an exceptional balance of properties. It has extreme toughness, broad adhesion latitude to plastics, excellent exterior weathering performance, water- and mar resistance. It can be crosslinked to enhance performance and can be diluted & clean-up with ordinary tap water. It contains n-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) as a co-solvent. In Hauthane HD-5002, rheology modifications can be made with associative thickeners for alternative application methods. It can be used as a sole vehicle for spray or rotogravure inks. It is designed for architectural coatings applications on a wide variety of plastic substrates, including ABS, lexan, noryl and polystyrene where abrasion- and chemical resistance properties are required.
