SILIKOTOP® E 901

Branched hydroxyfunctional high-solid silicone-polyester. It exhibits excellent chemical-, stone-chipping-, weather- and impact resistance. Offers corrosion protection and excellent leveling. Shows faster drying and higher hardness in cured films. Enables film thicknesses of up to 200 μm in a single coating layer. Its low processing viscosity helps formulate low VOC formulations (< 250 g/L). Curable with all common and other polyisocyanates. Can be dried by air-drying, forced-drying and baking process. Suitable for solvent-borne, clear-coat, high-solid, pigmented, direct grind, and 2-pack coatings. Used in structural steel, commercial transport and, agricultural- & construction vehicle coatings. Applications are protective coatings including top-coats for general industrial, marine, truck, public transport, & wood coatings. Listed in ECL, EINECS, ENCS, PICCS and TSCA.
