SILIKOPHEN® P80/MPA by Evonik is methylphenyl polysiloxane resin. Used as a solvent-borne binder for heat-resistant, anti-corrosion coatings for mufflers, ovens, chimneys, oven inserts, barbeques and electric and gas heaters. Offers good air-drying. Exhibits good compatibility with organic resins. Is free of aromatic solvents. Provides corrosion protection upto 650°C. Can be cold-blended with organic binders (alkyds or acrylics) and are suitable for manufacturing coatings with numerous properties. SILIKOPHEN® P80/MPA has a storage stability of 12 months.
