Silcolease® 429 by Elkem Silicones is silicone polymer diluted in an aromatic solvent. It cures by a polycondensation reaction with an organometallic compound and a crosslinker. Enables coating on particular supports inhibiting the polyaddition reaction (PVC). Shows good anchorage on papers, plastic films and various substrates, except papers used for food contact. Suitable for use in manufacturing elastomeric release coatings. Silcolease® 429 is used in association with the crosslinker Silcolease® Crosslinker 92A and the catalysts Silcolease® Catalyst 62A and Silcolease® Catalyst 62B and, if necessary a release control additive, for example Silcolease® RCA 3.
