PARALOID™ B-67MT (45%)

PARALOID™ B-67MT (45%) by Dow Chemical is an IBMA polymer. It is an alkyd-compatible acrylic resin designed to have good compatibility with long-oil alkyds. The addition of PARALOID™ B-67MT (45%) to alkyds, oils, or varnishes produces coatings of improved hardness, faster drying speed, better color and gloss retention, and improved hold out and brushing characteristics. It is supplied as a 45% solids solution in mineral spirits for use where requirements for slightly slower drying speed and/or higher flash point exist.
