HIMIDE 4030

HIMIDE 4030 by Cytech Coatings (Cytech Group) is an alcohol reducible, thermoplastic polyamide resin containing wax. It is an extremely low odor polyamide ink binder designed for gravure inks and lacquers. It possesses good alcohol dilutability and excellent solvent-release. It exhibits good water-, blocking- and relation resistance. It has poor gelation recovery and low tolerance to polar solvents. Co-efficient of friction for lacquers made from the grade are typically 0.31 static & 0.295 dynamic. The shelf life of HIMIDE 4030 is within 12 months.
