BRB Silanil® 106

BRB Silanil® 106 by BRB International BV is a reactive vinyltris(2-methoxyethoxy)silane designed for paints and coatings. It is reactive in free radical chemistry and forms siloxane bonds through moisture curing. It increases water resistance when modified polymer chains by copolymerization. Improves scratch resistance, offers good bonding and adhesion on inorganic fillers or substrates. Used to modify polymer structures e.g. vinyl modified latexes and various synthetic rubber to form vinyl copolymers, especially in surface coating water- and solvent-borne applications. Recommended dosage level of BRB Silanil® 106 is 0.1-1 % based on monomer weight.
