Joncryl® 586 by BASF is an acrylic resin. Designed to improve alkali resistance of overprint lacquers, varnishes and inks, while maintaining good transfer and resolubility. Provides good water and wet block resistance. It is an alkali-soluble, lower acid resin. Joncryl® 586 is recommended as a dispersant in waterborne coatings.
