ENCOR® 8180 is a zinc free, styrene acrylic emulsion polymer. Exhibits good high temperature non-blocking properties (425 F, 60 psi, 2 secs dwell time), good scuff resistance and excellent gloss. Due to its low Tg, exhibits good adhesion to standard range of substrates. It can also be used to develop high temperature resistance inks. Suitable for use in water-borne coating and ink systems. ENCOR® 8180 is designed for pre-print overprint varnishes.
