TIRES™ 4940

TIRES™ 4940 by allnex is a medium viscosity, thermoplastic solution acrylic resin. It features excellent durability, gloss retention and color stability.

It has good compatibility with plasticizers and modifier resins.
It produces a very hard film and can be used as the sole film former, in combination with plasticizers or in nitrocellulose systems.
It exhibits excellent solvent release characteristics.
TIRES™ 4940 can be compounded into clear and pigmented exterior lacquers with applications such as automotive refinish systems, aerosol finishes, furniture lacquers and coatings for metal and plastics.
It has a shelf life of 365 days from the date of manufacturing.
