SETYRENE™ 13-2424 by allnex is an alkyd resin that has been copolymerized with vinyl toluene to produce a very rapid drying product. It offers limited compatibility with medium oil alkyds but may be blended up to 20% of the vehicle solids to significantly accelerate drying rates. It provides good tolerance for aliphatic solvents. SETYRENE™ 13-2424 is used in fast dry industrial coatings, floor sealers, dry fall maintenance coatings, stain blocking primers and aerosol paints. It has a shelf life of one year.
