SETAQUA® PU 1160

SETAQUA® PU 1160 by allnex is a waterborne, dual self-crosslinking, tin-, NMP-, NEP-, APEO-, & TEA- free, fatty acid modified aliphatic polyurethane dispersion. It contains 47% C14 bio-based content with high wet state transparency. It is suited to formulate low VOC warm toned varnishes with an excellent balance of overall properties.

• It contains N,N-diisopropylethylamine as neutralizing agent.
• It has low odor & near zero VOC with ambient temperature cross link capability.
• It exhibits good levelling, substrates wetting, fast drying, quick hardness development and excellent adhesion to many substrates.
• It offers excellent water and chemical resistance even in matting clear paint.
• It shows good compatibility with acrylics and WD alkyds & hybrids/tribrids.
• It is developed to achieve outstanding abrasion resistance for use in single pack varnishes.
• It offers superb resistance to water, dilute alkalis, acids, and alcohol.
• It is recommended for both DIY and contractor applied finishes, timber floors, industrial wood furniture finishes and panelling.
• It is used in clear varnishes for wood flooring (residential, commercial and sports floors), clear & pigmented, metal coatings and masonry coatings.
• SETAQUA® PU 1160 has a shelf life of 365 days.
