SETAL® 1337/70

SETAL® 1337/70 by allnex is a chain-stopped soybean oil alkyd resin. It offers good solvent tolerance and compatibility. It is positive dry with good film hardness and provides good color & gloss retention in exterior coatings. It is used in the manufacture of general industrial air dry or force dry enamels. It is a quick-curing resin and has a high tolerance for aliphatic solvents. SETAL® 1337/70 is thinned in a non-aromatic, low odor solvent to facilitate its use in aerosol coatings. It is also recommended as a modifier for short bake alkyds to speed up cure and maintain cost. The shelf life of the grade is 365 days.
