SETAL® 11-2412

SETAL® 11-2412 by allnex is a medium soybean oil alkyd resin. It is designed for use in a wide variety of high-quality air dry, force dry (160-180°F surface temperature) or bake finishes. This alkyd is an excellent choice for formulating fast setting traffic paints. It is also an excellent choice for coatings on farm machinery, industrial maintenance implements and structural steel. It is suitable for fast-dry shop and DIY/industrial aerosol coatings. Additional chemical resistance and enhanced performance may be obtained by crosslinking with melamine resin (CYMEL® 303). The cured films have good toughness and flexibility. The resin provides excellent color and gloss retention. The shelf life of SETAL® 11-2412 is 2 years.
