SETAL® 11-1495

SETAL® 11-1495 by allnex is a higher solids chain-stopped soybean oil alkyd for use in the manufacture of coatings. Coatings based upon this resin are characterized by high specular gloss, good color retention and a high order of resistance to sunlight degradation. SETAL® 11-1495 reduces rapidly with aromatic solvents to provide lowered VOC paint requirements. It offers decreased VOC with good hardness & adhesion and good metal wetting properties. It is recommended for industrial air-dry, force-dry and bake enamels for metal, automotive & rail car refinish enamels. It is also suitable for increased solids maintenance coatings and marine finishes. It has a shelf life of 2 years. It is delivered in 68% nv in methyl amyl ketone/xylene (96/4 pbw).
