PHENODUR® VPR 1785/65B

PHENODUR® VPR 1785/65B by allnex is a heat curable, low-viscous, non-plasticized reactive, relatively flexible cresol-resol, containing very little free monomers and free formaldehyde. It is a higher molecular weight version of PHENODUR® VPR 1785/70B with a lower solid content.

It shows high adhesion and chemical resistance.
It is used in heat curable phenolic/polyester resin combinations (BADGE & BisAfree/NI systems) and phenolic/ epoxide resin combinations for interior & exterior coatings for metal packaging and protective coatings for apparatus, vessels & pipelines.
PHENODUR® VPR 1785/65B is used as a sole binder or in combination with small amounts of high molecular weight polymers like (poly)vinyl butyral for interior can coating systems (e.g. for 3-piece cans).
The shelf life of the grade is 730 days.
