EBECRYL® 577

EBECRYL® 577 by allnex is a carboxylated polymeric polyester acrylate. It is developed for use as an alkali strippable component, and may be cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB).

It is usually combined with higher viscous resins to achieve a good balance of film properties but also to be removable in alkali conditions.
It possesses low viscosity, moderate acid functionality and light color.
It provides good adhesion to glass, metallic and plastic materials.
Formulated UV/EB curable products containing EBECRYL® 577 may be applied by lithographic, screen, gravure, direct or reverse roll, and curtain coating methods.
It is recommended for use in alkali removable primers for the re-use of plastics in the circular economy.
It has a shelf life of 2 years.
